Consulting services are provided only under a written engagement agreement signed by both parties, and that agreement governs the services, fees, and responsibilities of each party. Nothing on this site modifies an engagement agreement.

Private lending and note investing carry risk of loss, including loss of principal. Our engagements produce professional credit opinions based on the information made available to us. No underwriting eliminates risk completely, and no review guarantees that a loan will perform, that all issues will be identified, or that any particular result will occur. You remain solely responsible for your lending and investment decisions.
Limitation of liability and hold harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Castle Rock Capital Management LLC, The Mad Lender, and their principals and personnel are not liable for losses arising from your use of this site or from lending or investment decisions you make, including losses on loans or notes that were the subject of a review, whether from items not identified in a review or from later borrower default, and you agree to hold them harmless from such losses. For paid engagements, any liability terms in the signed engagement agreement control.
Intellectual property
The content of this site and of our reports, templates, and materials belongs to us. Engagement deliverables are for the client’s own use and are not to be republished or resold.
